Explore the world of clay in this fun and engaging beginner pottery session! Come and discover the basics of hand building and decorating, no experience necessary. All ages welcome, $15/participant for one session. Dress for mess!

  • Open to participants of all ages; children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult who also has a ticket.

Do you have a child that loves to create and isn’t afraid to get messy? This day camp will give them the chance to explore the world of art! Including a clay project as well as painting, drawing, or collage. We will learn the basics and allow your child to bring their imagination to life!

Art Day Camp is open to children ages 7-12

Camp 9:00am-4:30pm

Before care starting at 8:30am, aftercare until 5:30pm!

In this 5 week program your child will be encouraged and inspired to to work in either pottery, art or crafts each week to build an understanding of each new material. Every week the instructor will demonstrate the basics of a new way of creating, allowing for each young artist to develop a wide range of skills!

Every Saturday morning 10am-12pm

Ceramic Charcuterie Plate Workshop @ Canadian Clay & Glass Gallery

Come to the Clay & Glass to learn how to build your very own ceramic charcuterie plate and design a stamp or stencil to decorate it! Participants of all skill levels are welcome to come participate. Our instructor will guide you through the basics of slab building, stencil making, and stamp creating to help you design your ideal charcuterie plate in this three hour workshop.

Join us at the Clay and Glass Gallery for a free talk for the public with speaker Sonya Poweska, Culture Program Specialist at the City of Waterloo. Learn about what constitutes public art and what its benefits are to a community.
