Needle Felting Workshop
with Sarah Badran

Join us for an afternoon at The Clay & Glass where local maker Sarah Badran will teach an introductory workshop on needle felting.  Needle felting is a process that uses barbed needles to entangle wool fibers to form a dense material called felt.  Participants will learn how to transform wool into felt, and how to create both 2D and 3D pieces.
 

 

 

 

 

 


Cost of the class includes all materials. No experience required. Light refreshments will be served.

Papercutting Workshop

with Mark Yungblut

Participants will learn the basics of Japanese papercutting with artist Mark Yungblut who brings 10 years of experience.  Mark will discuss various styles and techniques, and will guide participants in the creation of an artwork.

Adult Tour and Studio Workshops

Exhibition tours and studio workshop programs are available for groups of adults. In this two-hour program, the group is given a tour of the current exhibition as well as an opportunity to construct an object in the studio workshop. Objects are fired in the kiln and returned two weeks after the visit.
