Calling all Youth Groups!
The Clay & Glass offers a unique experience for your teens to express their creativity! Join us for a clay studio experience designed for your youth group. During the first 1½ hour session, teens will learn basic principles of clay sculpture and be guided through the construction of a clay object as well as methods for texture application and surface decoration. Teens will also be given an introduction to the artworks on view. The objects created by the group will then be fired in our kiln so that they are ready for your next visit!
Two weeks later, your youth group will return for a second 1½ hour session to glaze their sculptures. Everything gets fired once more in our kiln and then the colourful and unique objects are ready for pick up! After the glazing session, Youth Leaders and/or Gallery staff will facilitate a focused conversation about the artworks and teens will be encouraged to discuss their responses to works on view.
Youth Group bookings can be made for weekday evenings or Saturdays, take advantage of this exciting opportunity and book today!

Youth Tour and Studio Workshops
Teen Tour and Studio Clay Workshops: Two-hour exhibition tours and studio workshop programs are available for groups of teens on schedule
d evenings. The group is given a tour of the current exhibition as well as an opportunity to construct an object in the studio workshop. Objects are fired in the kiln and returned two weeks after the visit.
