The Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery fosters interaction among artworks, artists and community.  The exhibitions produced by the Gallery challenge ideas and perceptions of the definitions of art, craft and design today, as well as concepts of ethnicity and contemporary culture. Our exhibitions offer an opportunity to appreciate the work of accomplished traditional practitioners as well as influential artists who defy conventional stereotypes within the silica arts.  The Gallery’s curatorial mandate supports and recognizes the needs and artistic merit of a changing and increasingly diverse visual arts sector through our exhibitions, supportive educational and supplemental programming.

The Gallery accepts artist submissions and exhibition proposals from around the world. The Gallery pays exhibition fees to artists as per CARFAC rates.

The Curator reviews exhibition submissions on an ongoing basis.  If you are submitting a package for review, please include the following material:

  1. statement of thesis of exhibition
  2. curriculum vitae

  5. any press received, catalogues, etc from past exhibitions
  6. please ensure that you include your address, telephone number and email address
  7. Curators submitting exhibition proposals must also submit an exhibition budget that includes proposed shipping expenses and shipper’s quote.
