What is In The Moment?
In The Moment dementia friendly art tours are designed to spark moments of joy, creativity and connection. In The Moment program aims to decrease isolation and improve wellbeing for people living with dementia. Sessions encourage curiosity, creativity, and learning new things while having fun and getting inspired by art.
Who is it for?
In The Moment is for people living with dementia and their care partners. All stages and ages are welcome.
What happens during an In The Moment tour?
Come to the gallery for a private tour of the exhibitions, followed by coffee and an optional postcard making activity.
Explore and discuss a small selection of artworks in the gallery (3 or 4 artworks per tour) while seated in front of the artwork. The conversation continues with a coffee after the tour, which is accompanied by an optional creative postcard making activity.
