Picking up artwork:

  • The Group leader will receive an email when items are ready for pick up. It takes minimum 3 weeks for pieces to be air dried, and kiln fired.

What’s included with a clay workshop:

  • Instruction with a member of the studio team
  • Clay and access to clay tools.
  • Underglaze ceramic paints for unfired clay.
  • Firing in a kiln. Each piece is bisque fired and then glaze fired.
  • Food safe finish. Our studio team dips pieces in a clear glaze before the second kiln firing. This creates a dishwasher and microwave safe finish.
  • Packing and labeling for pick up. It generally takes 3 weeks for pieces to be air dried, bisque fired, dipped in a clear glaze, and glaze fired. You will receive an email when artwork is ready to be picked up. All pieces must be picked up within 30 days of receiving pick up email.

Adult to Child Ratio:

Applies to all other groups with children 13 and under.

There is a required ratio of 1 adult for every 5 children. Adults are responsible for supervising the group.

Adults who are there to supervise only are free. If adults would like to supervise and make a clay artwork, please purchase a ticket for all adults who would like to take part.
