Intro to Handbuilding 2021
Thursdays from 6-8:30pm
January 7th to February 11th 2021
This six week course will introduce students to essential clay hand-building techniques. Initially students will develop their skill though a series of directed projects, before moving onto creating unique self-directed clay artwork. Additionally, students will be instructed in a wide variety of decorating techniques, including underglaze painting, sgraffito, relief carving, as well as learning glaze dipping and brushing techniques. Through the combination of these lessons students will gain a deeper understanding of the complete clay making process and have fun while creating unique projects! All skill levels welcome!
We are limiting our registrations to 9 people per workshop and maintaining 6ft social distancing throughout the workshop. We will provide masks for any who need one as they will be mandatory. Sanitizer will also be provided.
