Thank you for joining us to celebrate this milestone! 

Since June 19th, 1993 – The Canadian Clay & Glass Gallery has been proudly exhibiting artists working in clay, glass, and vitreous enameling from across the country. Thirty amazing years of showcasing incredible talent from across the nation, inviting new and returning members of our community into our gallery, and creating exciting, engaging programs for all ages.

To celebrate this achievement, we hosted a special, community event. On September 9th, 2023, members and patrons of our arts community gathered together, inviting everyone from the public to enjoy a day of family-friendly activities and tours, followed by an after-hours event. The family event was held from 1 pm to 5 pm, and the art party for adults was held from 7 pm to 11 pm.

The Honourable Mike Morrice, MP for Kitchener Centre served as Honorary Gala Chair.

“We are so fortunate to have this nationally significant gallery right in our community, highlighting incredible talent from across the country since 1993,” said Morrice. “I am honoured to be part of celebrating the Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery’s 30th anniversary and I’m looking forward to our community coming together to mark the occasion in September.”

Susan Collett, ceramic and print artist and winner of the inaugural Winifred Shantz Award for Ceramics (2001), joined us as our Artist Guest of Honour for this year’s gala.
