Your support will enable us to enhance programming opportunities, better engage the community and enrich the work of the Gallery as we embark on our next chapter.
The Canadian Clay & Glass Gallery has responded creatively to the challenges pf Covid-19. During the lockdown, we began to offer online exhibitions and education programs and will continue to expand on these offers and others. We have been open safely since July 2, 2020.
To Be Sustainable, We Must Constantly Increase our Relevance
In spite of Covid-19, we have continued to evolve and grow. Our visibility has improved within the community and we are gaining recognition nationally. As a contributor, you can take pride in our achievements. It wouldn’t be possible without your support.
Your Continued Support is Critical
Please help us ensure the Gallery continues to evolve, grow, and reach its amazing potential. I invite you to join me in building on our achievements and our momentum. All monies raised will expand on four core areas during 2021. They are:
- Children’s programming and scholarships; and the new Interpretation and Family Learning Centre – typical cost $500-$2,000 per program)
- Exhibitions – including artist talks and workshops (typical cost $5,000-$25,000 per exhibition)
- Publications – to contribute to the national discourse (typical cost $2,500-$10,000 per initiative)
- Residencies – offering artists the opportunity to work in our studio for 4 to 12 weeks (typically $5,000-$15,000 per Residency)
