Thank you to everyone who joined us for Preview In Blue, and to everyone who gave so generously. Together, we raised $20,650!
The evening was a wonderful celebration of generosity. We are deeply grateful to the O’Born family for their sponsorship of Preview In Blue and for their extraordinary gift of the Chihuly chandelier, as well as to the Mirvish family for their major contribution to the event. Thanks to the generosity of our guests, artists from our special exhibitions were also able to attend free of charge, supported by additional tickets purchased by our community. Many others chose to make a donation in lieu of attending, and we are equally grateful for that support.
Notably, more than half of the funds raised came from outside the Region of Waterloo—a wonderful indication of the reach and resonance of the Gallery’s work.
Your support makes this possible. It allows us to present ambitious exhibitions, programs, and publications while maintaining FREE ADMISSION and advancing our commitment to research, education, and a more expansive discourse around fine craft.
Most importantly, your support helps ensure that the work of emerging and underrepresented artists from across Canada has a place here.
