CCGG Presents Neon Canada, Largest Exhibition of Neon Art Ever Presented in Canada
WATERLOO (ONTARIO) CANADA, October 21, 2026 — The Canadian Clay & Glass Gallery is proud to present Neon Canada: The Art of Electrified Glass, a landmark exhibition featuring major installations of contemporary Canadian neon artwork. Recognized as arguably the largest exhibition of neon art ever mounted in Canada, Neon Canada illuminates the medium’s historical significance, cultural impact, and contemporary artistic evolution.
Bringing together visionary neon sculptors, glass artists, and master tube benders, Neon Canada transforms the gallery into an immersive landscape of light, color, and form. The exhibition challenges traditional perceptions of neon as strictly commercial signage, elevating it into a fine art form that spans sculpture, conceptual installation, and light-based narrative. Featured artists include Kelly Mark, Roda Medhat, Orest Tataryn, Thrush Holmes, Coley, Robin Clason, Dick Averns, and Will Munro.
“Neon occupies a unique intersection between industrial craft, commercial culture, and fine art,” said Peter Flannery, Senior Curator & Collections Manager at the Canadian Clay & Glass Gallery. “With Neon Canada, we are thrilled to host an unprecedented selection of hand-bent neon works that celebrate the technical brilliance and artistic depth of this vibrant medium.”
